Gentoo Portage Overlay Package: madwifi-ng-karma

This package is a modification of the Madwifi-NG drivers to include patches
for the security tools Karma (www.theta44.org) and AirCrack-NG 
(www.aircrack-ng.org). This is only for gentoo but the patches could be applied
to other distributions easily.

NOTICE
======

This package will overwrite any existing madwifi drivers. Be sure to maintain
a backup copy of your previous installation tar file so you can go back and
forth should you need to. I haven't had any problems using this hacked driver
in regular every-day use but YMMV.

How To Install
==============

In your PORTAGE_OVERLAY directory, create a net-wireless directory and untar
the distribution tarball:

	cd $PORTAGE_OVERLAY
	mkdir net-wireless
	cd net-wireless
	tar xvzf ~/madwifi-karma.tgz

Now emerge it:

    # emerge -av madwifi-karma

If you already have madwifi installed it won't complain or care, just overwrite
everything. Deal with it by keeping track of things yourself.

Using It
========

Now that it's installed you need to use it:

    # rmmod ath_pci
	# modprobe -a ath_pci

Now go give judicious Karma!
